- Explain in 1 sentence what is a contractual brief?

A contractual brief is when a client and company/business come to an agreement on a specific task, the company is usually employed by the client and they discuss the contract before both parties agree terms.

- What is the purpose of a contractual brief?
the purpose of a contractual brief is to set guidelines that the client and company have to follow for example deadlines and budget.
- Who sets the conditions of the contract?
the company usually set the contract but the client can usually tell thinks that they don't like about the contract and what they would like to change about it and after everyone is happy with their side of the contract and they will sign it off.
- What happens if the contract is broken?
breach of contract can have serious consequences from being sued for what you wasn't able to deliver or the contract is terminated. in the future people or companies wouldn't work with you because they can see you don't stick to you contracts which is really bad for companies and clients reputation.
- What are the pros and cons of having a contract?


The pros to having a contract is that you have an agreement that has to be met legally and if not met you can take legal action but on the other hand the cons of having a contract is after you sign the contract you can't change it or change your mind.You can only change it if you come to an agreement or you come to a fee that might have been written down if any of the parties wanted to terminate the contract.
