Evaluation

for unit 31 I had to create a blog which I later on made it into a PowerPoint which I presented in front of my class. where I talked about social action and community media in Nottingham or my local area. I had to do research on how I can possibly take part in social action myself. to prepare for my presentation I read the presentation multiple times to know what I will talk about. I also tried to do queue cards but I knew I would struggle with reading a presenting at the same time.

Overall I feel my PowerPoint wasn't strong because of lack of preparation and lack in confidence but the thing that I did really well was probably the fact that I tried my best to look at my audience. from the start of my presentation I really struggled because I was really not mentally ready but as I kept going I got confident and had a strong finish. I also feel I was very knowledgeable on what I was talking about but I'm not sure if it came across like that.

If I was to do anything differently or do my presentation again I think I would come with more confidence or face the camera because I felt when I was looking at the audience I was put off and I couldn't get my words out properly. I also think I could have added more pictures to my PowerPoint because I looked really dull.

if I was to be honest I don't think I did enough for a distinction because I didn't go into full detail and the presentation wasn't at a distinction standard but I had good information that I did for example the bit when I talked about one of the ambassador of #iwill I showed how well I took time to research.
I was really happy with everything that I used because It was good information but its just the way that I may I have wrote it that didn't come out as I would have liked. I could have tried to get my audience more involved by asking them questions.

feedback
Ronan: Delvin's presentation covered all the key areas of content and he gave good examples of certain topics with a well structured presentation, however at the start he did look a little bit nervous however he grew into it as the powerpoint went on.

George : Delvin's presentation was very straight forward, but informative considering its brief nature. He covered all necessary information on community media and social action, however I believe same points could have been elaborated and rehearsed.

Jamie: Delvin gave a very informative presentation with detailed examples of social media use by community media. He talked well about #iwill giving an example and expanding upon it. He could have rehearsed his presentation and been more confident in his points to improve.

I feel the feedback is fair and right because I agree with most of the positive points but I feel it was kind at part because I felt I wasn't confident as said by Jamie but I I've changed my mind a little bit because of my feedback because I wasn't confident of how I presented it.
